Vallejo Paints

A range of 220 paints, very highly pigmented, formulated for models and miniatures and ideal for decorating all miniatures. Model-Color is indicated for all surfaces, and especially formulated to adhere to plastics and polyesters. The colors brush on smoothly, and cover large surfaces easily and without showing brushstrokes. The paints can be diluted with water for air brushing. The paint texture is ideal for tiny details on miniature work. All the shades dry to a matt finish except the metallic and transparent colors. If a glossy, laquered finish is desired, add one or two thin coats of Brilliant Varnish. With Metallic Meium you can transform matt colors into metallic shades. It is alway preferable to apply varnishes in thin coats, and allow them to dry for at least one hour before applying a second coat. The tranparent colors render a brilliant finish, ting the surface but do not hide woodgrains or other characteristics. On models, they are applied directly for the tinting of headlights and signal lights, diluted with Mat Medium, these colors are ideal for tinting airplane or car windows to achieve a smoked glass effect. The application of a coat of transparent color over the same matt color gives an extra brilliant special effect. Model-color can be diluted with water, and all colors can be mixed with one another. The product does not contain solvents and is not inflammable. Errors can be correctd immediately with water, or with a small amount of alcohol. Once the paint has dried, it is waterproof and permanent. Model-color is presented in 17ml bottles with an eyedropper. This packaging prevents the paint from evaporating and drying in the container. It can be used in minimal quantities and keeps for a long time.
